    people work together to come up with ideas

  • Virtual care means

    having your health appointment on your computer or smart phone.

  • Workshops will be at

    • Orange: 5th February 2025
    • Fairfield: 28th February 2025
    • Online: 19th February 2025

Virtual Care Research Project

Western NSW Local Health District and Charles Sturt University are doing research about virtual care for people with intellectual disability


  • Research means we ask questions to learn about a subject

  • Virtual health care means having your health care appointment on your computer, iPad or phone

  • We want to learn how to make virtual care better for people with intellectual disability

  • We are looking for a person with intellectual disability to be on the research steering committee

  • The research steering committee give advice to people doing the research

  • The committee is helping to make virtual care better for people with intellectual disability


What you will do

  • Talk about your healthcare experience

  • Share what you are thinking

  • Ask questions

  • Read meeting documents


About the meetings

  • Meetings are held on-line, someone can be with you

  • Meetings start at 11.30am and finish by 1.00pm

  • You will be paid for the meetings you attend
