Western NSW Local Health District covers almost 250 000 km2 from Bathurst in the east to Bourke in the west. More than 276,000 people live here and over 13% of the population are Aboriginal. The Local Health District provides health care through over 65 large and small hospitals, and 50 community health centres.

We work in partnership with our communities to deliver services that connect people with the care they need.

Engage Western NSW Health is a space for the community to provide us with feedback as we plan, design and deliver services and other health projects. It is one of the tools we use to engage with people across our footprint.

On Engage Western you will see a series of projects that you can find out more about, and comment on. Some projects may be closed to feedback, however we'll use this page to let you know the feedback we received and how we used this in the project.

In some cases, you may need to register on Engage Western NSW Health to participate in a particular activity. We take the privacy and confidentiality of your information seriously, and you can find out more in our Privacy Statement.

We also ask that everyone visiting Engage Western express themselves respectfully and constructively. In some cases, comments may be moderated for relevance and appropriateness. You can find out more in our Moderation and Community Guidelines.
