Western NSW Local Health District is developing a ten-year plan for Orange Health Service – this is known as a Clinical Services Plan.

What is a Clinical Services Plan

A Clinical Services Plan is an important document that will guide the planning and development of services at Orange Health Service.

It describes our vision for meeting the future health and wellbeing needs of people who use health services at Orange.

The Clinical Services Plan considers the range of services required to meet health care needs in the future, taking into account changes in population and how healthcare is provided. Building and equipment resources are also considered.

A Clinical Services Plan is not a funding commitment. There are separate processes to seek funding for service development and capital for infrastructure development, and the Clinical Services Plan will be used to inform these processes.
