Seeking Aboriginal Artists

We are seeking Aboriginal graphic design artists who have cultural and community connections to Country and First Nations people in Western NSW.

The selected artist will develop digital artwork for the Transforming Aboriginal Health Plan 2026 - 2031: For Our People, For Our Future.

Our vision is a future where Aboriginal people are strong in culture, strong in community and strong in health.

The artwork should highlight the region and our people and reflect the following themes:

  • Voice - Aboriginal voices leading Aboriginal health
  • Strength - growing a sustainable Aboriginal workforce
  • Belonging - community designed and culturally safe care
  • Unity - walking together with trust and respect
  • Justice - equitable access to close the gap through fairness and action

Artwork commission brief

The selected artist will co-design and develop a visual concept and digital artwork that reflects the values and priorities of the Transforming the Aboriginal Health Plan 2026 - 2031.

The artwork, or elements of the artwork, may be used across a range of formats including:

  • digital and print productions
  • online platforms
  • signage
  • communication materials
