We are seeking Expressions of Interest from Aboriginal Artists or Graphic Designers to design a concept for Western NSW Local Health District as part of a new project.
The project aims to enhance access to health services for First Nations people in the Dubbo Local Government Area.
The project will have Community Connectors to help individuals and families to navigate and access health services and to provide support with issues such as substance use, family violence and mental health.
The successful artist
Aboriginal artists and/ or a collaboration of Aboriginal artists are sought for this project. The artist must have connections and heritage to Country and First Nations people within Western NSW Local Health District.
The final artwork, or elements of it, will be used across various formats, including digital print, signage and engagement tools.
Scope of the work
Major themes for the artwork should include:
- Aboriginal culture and family
- community support and connection
- healing, health and wellbeing
Fee and artwork rights
All rights, including copyright should be included in the proposal.
Artists acknowledge the artwork will be digitalised and reproduced for marketing in all forms of media, publications and documents for the project.
There will be no end date to this agreement.
The artist will be required to sign a contract agreeing to the above terms.
