Dubbo Outpatients Self Check-In

Would you like to help improve patient experience when checking-in to an outpatients clinic?

Outpatient services at Dubbo Hospital include some of the specialist clinics located at the Ambulatory Care Centre. Ambulatory Care means medical care provided without being admitted into a hospital. Services available at the Ambulatory Care Centre include Medical Day Treatment Services (eg dressings, infusions), Cardiology and Respiratory Clinics, Orthopaedic Clinic, Rheumatology, and other specialist clinics.

A self check-in kiosk is being set up for the outpatient services and it is now at the testing phase.

How you can help

Register to be part of a design testing group where you will trial the self check-in. Your feedback will help to get the system right.

You will be given some tasks using the touchscreen and then asked to share your experience on how easy it was to use, how the information looked and any ideas to improve the experience using the system.

You will need to come to the Dubbo Health Service Ambulatory Care Centre to test the self check-in system.
