Western NSW Local Health District are creating a visual identity for Aboriginal Health. We would like your feedback to help us design it.

What is an Aboriginal Health Visual Identity?

An Aboriginal Health Visual Identity is a set of colours, symbols, and designs that represent Aboriginal culture and values in health services. It is used to create a visual connection between health services and the Aboriginal community, making the services feel more welcoming, respectful, and culturally appropriate. The visual identity can be used on things like brochures, posters, and websites to help connect the resources with the right people.

Our aim is to create designs that honour Aboriginal culture and helps us in our journey towards reconciliation.

Colour and Branding

When choosing the colours, there are some rules we have to follow from the NSW Government Branding Guidelines. The colour options you see in this survey have been carefully thought about before being shared.

We will make sure that the designs and artwork are used in the right way, and that the artist's work is treated with respect.

How will we use your feedback?

Your ideas will help guide Western NSW Local Health District to develop a strong visual identity that is both respectful and aligns with our mission of reconciliation and unity. The artwork that we have used is our well-known Reconciliation Artwork that was created by artist Jasmine Sarin.

The survey closes 22nd October 2024
